Subgroups
The CoPE subgroup facilities rely heavily on the underlying Plone mechanisms. The Coordinator can set up several subgroups, each having its own folder within the general "Groups" folder. This site comes with a subgroup called "Sample Group" and user "guest" is a member of this subgroup.
Members of a subgroup can work together in the same ways as the full
membership of a CoPE. Documents can be developed, proposed, voted upon,
etc. within the subgroup. The subexample document in the Guest Subgroup
folder is in voting state.
Even the existence of a subgroup is invisible to non-members of the group, for example, there is a Coordinator's Subgroup which is not visible to guest.
